Overview

THE ROLE:

The Home Delivery Operations Supervisor is responsible for the orchestration and performance of Herbalife’s home delivery service, which represents 10% of total sales across 14 shipping points in Mexico. This role ensures operational excellence through third-party order preparation and parcel delivery providers, aligning with strategic supply chain objectives.


HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:  
•    Strategic Alignment of Home Delivery Operations
Ensure that home delivery operations are aligned with Herbalife’s overall supply chain strategy and customer-focused objectives. Support strategic planning of shipping point locations, service coverage, and operational models that maximize value and efficiency across the network.

•    Definition and Governance of Business Rules
Translate corporate policies into actionable business rules that guide decision-making in home delivery. Define and maintain rules for dispatch timing, delivery service levels, customer service protocols, and logistics coordination, ensuring consistency and compliance across all shipping points and vendors.

•    Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
Monitor key performance indicators such as on-time dispatch, on-time delivery, delivery within two business days, and customer complaint rates. Analyze performance gaps, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through structured reporting and operational reviews.

•    Data, Information, and Technology Enablement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational data, including address validation, shipping codes, delivery frequencies, and vendor information. Support the integration and optimization of multiple systems involved in home delivery, ensuring data integrity and enabling effective decision-making.

•    Resource Planning and Skill Development
Identify the knowledge and skill requirements necessary to support home delivery operations. Assess resource availability across internal teams and external partners, support training initiatives, and monitor the effectiveness of skill development programs to ensure operational readiness.

•    Contract and Agreement Management
Oversee the lifecycle of contracts and service-level agreements with logistics providers and parcel carriers. Coordinate vendor onboarding, manage billing and provisioning, and ensure contractual compliance. Facilitate regular performance reviews and negotiations with partners.

•    Network Design and Optimization
Contribute to the design and optimization of the home delivery network by analyzing the impact of opening or closing shipping points, evaluating route efficiency, and proposing changes that improve service levels and reduce costs. Support scenario modeling and resource planning to enhance network performance.

•    Regulatory and Compliance Integration
Ensure that home delivery operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Monitor the regulatory environment, identify gaps, and support the implementation of remediation plans. Contribute to voluntary compliance initiatives and certifications where applicable.

•    Risk Identification and Mitigation
Proactively identify risks that could disrupt home delivery operations, including vendor performance issues, environmental events, and logistical bottlenecks. Develop mitigation strategies such as alternate routing, vendor diversification, and escalation protocols to ensure business continuity.

•    Sustainability and Governance
Support environmental, social, and governance initiatives by contributing to packaging optimization, route efficiency, and waste reduction. Participate in sustainability efforts that enhance long-term value creation and align with Herbalife’s ESG goals.

•    Enterprise Business Planning Integration
Provide input into long-term planning efforts by aligning home delivery operations with strategic and financial objectives. Contribute to scenario development, operational forecasting, and cross-functional planning to ensure that home delivery remains agile and scalable.

•    2+ years of experience managing teams
 

Job Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 
•    5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in last-mile delivery.
•    2+ years of experience managing teams
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Experience managing third-party vendors and contracts.
•    Proficiency in dashboard tools and supply chain systems.
•    Negotiation
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Education:
•     Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
