Role Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud technologies and a consultative mindset. This role focuses on evaluating technology risks, designing secure architectures, and guiding internal stakeholders through secure solution implementation. Candidates with cloud experience (GCP, Azure, AWS) and a strong interest in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply—even if they are early in their security career.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor risk assessments and support contract reviews.
• Evaluate and design secure technology architectures across SaaS, servers, and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Privacy, GRC, Enterprise Architecture, and Product Owners.
• Maintain and improve cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Participate in threat modeling and strategic initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, STRIDE, OWASP, and NIST.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to cybersecurity governance.

Technical Experience

• 1+ year experience in cloud architecture (GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Familiarity with secure transmission protocols, encryption, and system configuration.
• Experience in at least one vertical: networks, applications, or server operations.
• General understanding of development pipelines, containers, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

Preferred Certifications

• Required: Cloud foundational certifications (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Preferred: ISC2 CC, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ISACA, CAPM Architecture.
