POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The primary responsibility of this position is to execute sourcing strategies and supplier management strategies for suppliers to reduce costs without compromising quality. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for regional category analysis, leading the RFx process, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. The individual will be responsible for strategic sourcing, negotiations and management of major regional contracts for the company. This position will support the management of low to high complex categories by analyzing reporting and research, maintaining database information and executing tasks and projects in an efficient and timely manner.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Indirect responsibility for low to mid-complexity categories.
• Implement sourcing strategies as directed from management in categories that results in a sustainable competitive advantage.
• Synthesize data gathered to perform low level negotiations, perform medium complexity calculations for proposed pricing.
• Create basic PowerPoint presentations to be presented to management.
• Ability to lead subset of cross functional team with management guidance
• Track, monitor, analyze and report pricing to cross functional departments
• Maintain sourcing database(s) to ensure reporting is accurate; review and analyze reporting
• Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in cross functional teams across borders
• Up to date with best practices for the category
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results
• Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs of work and key suppliers
• Conduct periodic market analysis of rates and other commercial terms
• Negotiate new agreements and SOWs in support of key sourcing areas
• Expeditiously resolve the needs of the customer and support supplier relationships
• Provide assertive recommendation and or commercial drivers to the business considering aspects of different cultures and location.
• Ensure compliance to company purchasing/procurement policies and procedures including Cybersecurity, Privacy, Risk and other diligence requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
• Effectively communicates ideas in written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Effectively build a pipeline of deals and develop the appropriate resourcing plans.
• Advanced computer skills including Experience creating and using pivot tables, Powerpoint, Oracle or equivalent.
• Ability multi-task various projects and achieve timely results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects
• Must be results oriented
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic project management skills
• Team player with ability to work with associates from other regions

Experience:
• 5 years of experience in strategic indirect sourcing, consulting, vendor management, contracts, and/or procurement (required, is a must)
• In depth experience of contracts including.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or Engineering
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• +5 years of sourcing/purchasing/supply chain experience
• Project Management experience and skills
