Overview

The Analyst I, Data (SQL) is responsible for data mining and integrating data from various sources, ensuring data integrity.  This data is extracted from tables mirrored from source transactional systems that are not translated and governed within Business Intelligence tools to provide user friendly descriptions and connections, and therefore require additional technical oversight. Creating analysis-ready data sets for cross-functional and complex data analysis tasks
The responsibilities will include writing complex SQL queries, developing and maintaining Store Procedures, employing various statistical methods and modeling on a regular and ad-hoc basis.   
The right person for this role is a self-starter, intellectually curious and has a strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Qualifications

•   Knowledge of Relational Models and Data Warehouse/Lake methodology and experience with different types of databases/workspaces such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks and Database design structure.
•   Ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
•   Experience with Business Intelligence applications such as Power BI, MicroStrategy.
•   Intermediate skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
•   Knowledge of working with structured or semi structured data.
•   Self-starter, intellectually curious and has a strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team environment 
•   Knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques: Classification Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Regression Analysis, Anomaly Detection, etc.
•   Proficient in data mining process of discovering actionable information from large sets of data and derive patterns and trends that exist in data. 
•   Knowledge of Herbalife Marketing Plan, compensation structure and business models

 

Experience

•   2+ years of experience in the functional areas of business analysis, financial analysis, statistical model development, business administration/analysis, or related field.
•   2+ years of complex data analytics, writing queries and coding experience in SQL. 

 

Education

•   BA/BS in Business, Economics Finance, Data Science, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
