THE ROLE: IT Asset and Configuration Management Analyst III
The Asset and Configuration Management Analyst III is a resource who deliver daily end-to-end Configuration Management services to the organization focusing work on prioritized tasks.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
The specific responsibilities include:
• Manages the day-to-day operational activities as defined in the processes, including establishing priorities and work assignments.
• Tracks compliance to policies and procedures and resolves or escalates any compliance issues.
• Reviews, approves, and fulfills configuration management service requests as assigned.
• Performs inventory review and data audits with Global Technology Services (GTS) teams to ensure completeness, compliance, and accuracy of data.
• Works on strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver the required functionality within project timeframes.
• Reviews and discuss with management changes to the configuration management IT infrastructure where applicable to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed.
• Educate the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and policies and procedures.
• Support new or improving Configuration Management functionality aiming to achieve operational excellence.
• Designs, reviews, code, tests, and publish CI (Configuration Item) reports as needed.
• Collects and reports on metrics and CMDB health as required.

• The team have experience in ServiceNow Configuration Management module, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), ServiceNow Discovery, reporting, CI relationships, CI classification and identification
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Configuration Management module, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), ServiceNow Discovery, reporting, CI relationships, CI classification and identification
• Knowledge of IT Asset and Configuration Management practices and ITSM (IT Service Management)
• Knowledge of discovery, scan, and scripts processes to update CMDB
• Intermediate to high level skills on ITIL processes. ITIL v4 certification preferable
• Good Analytical skills, data management and manipulation
• Very familiar with Information Technology jargon
• Project management or project coordination skills
Education
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, information technology or related field.
• Strong communication skills in english.
